9/11

Back then, it was about the 3rd grade, was the day we heard about the attack. It was at the end of the day and my Principal, Ms. Narron, got on the loud speaker and told us the tragedy that had happen. I wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying because I really didn't pay attention to what she had to say over the loud speaker. When the bell had rang, everyone was talking about it. More 5th graders than the rest. I really didn't see what the fuss was about. There's something bad that happens all the time on the news and stuff, why should we react to this? But when I got home, I came to realize it was big. Bigger than the stories of people getting in fights, stealing, lying, cheating, and more bigger than suicide. This was so huge, that it was on every channel, even kid shows they stop for it. My mom was explaining it to me, in a low term cause i was little and she didn't want to worry me. At that point, I knew this was gonna last for a long time.

This has affected all of us in many ways. People lots loved ones, tragedy was everywhere, and most people didn't even really know what the cause of it was. I know that i didn't have family in that accident but we should be praying for the families that lost them, and have a great amount of respect for the firefighters and others who helped them out. My heart goes out to them. Nobody deserves to go through that.
